Food Waste Action Week 18th – 24th March 2024

This is the 4th annual campaign from Love Food Hate Waste which combines government bodies, businesses and other partners in supporting people in cutting their domestic food waste.

Almost 5 million tons of edible food in UK households is discarded each year, and a quarter of this is from cooking or serving more than necessary.

Another factor is a lack of planning when buying food, and food being forgotten in fridges, freezers and cupboards.

For many years Something Different has produced a range of useful products that help to support people in planning, measuring, storage and generally increase awareness of the savings to be made.
