King’s Awards Catalogue 2023
Years ago when Something Different first offered branded items celebrating the Queen’s Awards, the focus was on traditional products and materials such as crystal glassware, leather desk items, ties, desk clocks and business card cases.
The world of business has advanced dramatically in the last 15 years. The impact of IT; hybrid working at both office and home and a more relaxed dress code generally mean that business-related gifts have changed greatly. In addition there have been new products such as water bottles, notebooks, coffee mugs, power banks, device chargers and branded clothing that have become extremely popular with organisations large and small.
But the most recent powerful shift has been in how companies and organisations have adopted a policy of using branded promotional items that are sustainable, recycled, recyclable and eco-friendly. For this reason we have reviewed our list of Queen’s Awards products which have become King’s Awards merchandise in 2023, better to reflect changing trends in the business world, and also the long-held passion of His Majesty concerning the environment.
Our King’s Awards merchandise catalogue in April 2023 will feature King’s Awards bamboo pens, recycled plastic pens, biodegradable pens and newspaper pencils [pencils made from recycled newspapers]. Our expanded King’s Awards branded drinkware includes recycled plastic coffee mugs and stainless steel water bottles. King’s Awards branded paper products will all have either FSC accreditation or be made from recycled material from certified sources.
Our traditional Queen’s Awards lapel pins, cuff links and flags have become King’s Awards lapel pins, cuff links and flags and remain unchanged and are held in stock for immediate delivery.
If winners require a King’s Awards product that is not shown in our King’s Awards catalogue we have many years experience of supplying other items and work within the guidelines mandated by The King’s Awards office.
We are proud to work with the King’s Awards Office to offer winners the opportunity to publicise their achievement using dedicated King’s Awards branded items.
